About

THE BRAND
BIKO is a modern jewelry brand designed and handcrafted by a small team in Toronto, led by founder and designer Corrine Anestopoulos. Inspired by nature, contemporary art, architecture, and travel, BIKO is known for its sculptural forms, thoughtful design, and high level of craftsmanship.

Founded in 2005, BIKO has grown from a small independent jewelry label into an internationally recognized Canadian brand. Over the years, Corrine has collaborated with retailers including Nordstrom and Hudson’s Bay Company, creative partners including Mattel for Barbie’s 60th Anniversary, and public figures including M.I.A., Rupi Kaur, and Coco Rocha. BIKO has been featured in Vogue, Rolling Stone, ELLE, InStyle, and others.

In 2026, BIKO was awarded the CAFA Award for Accessory Designer of the Year, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s 20-year history and its place within Canadian fashion and design.

BIKO remains committed to local production, working with Toronto-based artisans and small businesses to create jewelry in small batches. The brand also continues to support charitable organizations and initiatives close to home.

THE DESIGNER

Born and raised in Toronto, Corrine Anestopoulos founded BIKO shortly after graduating from Toronto Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Design in Image Arts in 2005.

Her approach to jewelry is rooted in contemporary design, with inspiration drawn from nature, architecture, art, travel, and objects with a sense of history. Through hand-cast forms, mixed metals, natural stones, and sculptural shapes, Corrine creates jewelry that is modern, versatile, and designed to be worn often.

Corrine continues to lead BIKO from its Toronto studio, working closely with her small team and local production partners. Her focus remains on creating thoughtful, well-made pieces that feel personal, distinctive, and made to last.
