BIKO Wins 2026 CAFA Accessory Designer of the Year Award

It’s hard to put into words what this moment means. We’re so honoured to share that BIKO has received the 2026 Canadian Arts & Fashion Award for Accessory Designer of the Year.

To celebrate 20 years of BIKO with this recognition feels surreal. What started as a small creative dream has grown into a community built on connection, collaboration, and a shared love for thoughtful design.

For two decades, we’ve been creating jewelry from our studio in Toronto. Along the way, we’ve been lucky enough to work with incredible makers, collaborators, retailers, stylists, photographers, and creatives who have helped shape BIKO’s story.

This award belongs to so many people.

To our team in Toronto, thank you for your dedication and craftsmanship. To our family, friends, and community who have supported us through every season, thank you for believing in BIKO and growing alongside us.

A special thank you to CAFA and Vicky Milner for continuing to champion Canadian design and for celebrating the incredible talent in our industry.

BEHIND THE SCENES: A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

The CAFA Awards evening was a reflection of everything that has shaped BIKO: the people, partnerships, and creative relationships that have carried us through the years.

Corrine celebrated the night wearing Canadian designers she admires: a dress by Marie Saint Pierre, a purse by EDTE Studio, and BIKO jewelry, of course.

A special thank you to Corrine’s dear sister Tasha for being her date for the evening, and to George Pimentel for capturing the night's biggest moments.

One of the highlights of the evening was seeing so many friends, collaborators, and supporters wearing BIKO. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and helped make the night one to remember.
